As I grown as a Christian, I am becoming even more convinced that we must never depart from the Gospel. Departing from the Gospel means departing from the Lord. We must always proclaim the Gospel, after all, it is the power of God unto the salvation of people (Romans 1:16).
I weep for my lost family, friends and the rest who know not the Lord. The eternity awaits them and it is unendingly long.
Some of the people that I know may profess to be Christians but they are lost because they have no relationship with the Lord. They even attend Sunday church services but their worship is cold, their hearts are cold. They love the world and are easily deceived by the things of the world. They are lost.
Some of the people that I know are lost because they don’t trust the Lord and Saviour. They worship their false gods, false “holy” books or themselves. Jesus said,”If you love God, you would love Me.” Loving God means worshipping Jesus. But they don’t love Jesus because they don’t obey Jesus. If they don’t love Jesus, how can they love God? Therefore, they too are lost.
And if they do not REPENT and place their trust in the Lord and Saviour before departing from this world, they will be lost forever.
God is good, though. He tells us that we don’t have to be damned in hell forever since His Son died on the cross for our sins.
And this is the good news. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15).
Why would you not want to be with Him? He is the one who gave you this life?
Why would you want to be lost forever?
Why would you say no to everlasting life?
Turn to Christ.
“For our sake He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21
